Mayoral Debate Tonight

If you haven't made up your mind yet, watch the Mayoral debate at 6pm on Channel 10. All seven candidates have agreed to appear and participate in the debate. The debate includes viewer questions and you can still submit them online on Channel 10's website.

The majority of the mayoral candidates looks like they're straight out of HeeHaw ---

First, Leonard Padilla suggesting that City econmic development should come from new casinos, "one in the north, one in the south"

The older white gentleman saying he has no clue about how to address economic development --

Muriel Strand saying that economic development should not be a focus but that fresh, healhty food should be a priority

Shawn Eldredge wearing his Zeppelin shirt thinks that economic development should come from K Street being cleaned up

Heather Fargo understands what's going on, but can't articulate solid responses in 30 seconds

And finally, Kevin Johnson- he gets concepts "the mayor should pursue economic development" but doesn't seem to know WHAT he'd do DIFFERENTLY

I'm rather embarrassed that this is the capital of California and our mayoral candidates look ridiculous, amateurish and are unprofessional in response
